Hannah’s is a fully self-contained single bedroom villa, owned by The Otis Foundation. The unique rammed earth villa is part of a private double complex with Jude’s, separated by a purpose-designed internal courtyard. The property features ceiling to floor windows throughout, offering views of the countryside.
This architecturally designed home for two, is constructed from eco-friendly materials of rammed earth, wood and glass that blend into the natural landscape. This light-filled retreat has been designed for comfort and relaxation - featuring a wood heater and floor to ceiling windows that frame the views of the surrounding National Park, offering a place to relax and unwind.
Located within the Mandurang Valley, Hannah’s is nestled on the edge of the State Forest, just ten minutes away from the historic city of Bendigo, regional Victoria’s cultural hub.
Accommodation
Hannah’s was made for two. There are two king-single beds, a bathroom, open plan kitchen/living area and an enclosed outdoor seating area. A sofa bed within the villa, along with an independent carer’s unit with a single bed is available on request.
Availability
Hannah’s is open for bookings from February - early December each year and is subject to availability. The villa can be booked for four nights from Monday to Friday, or three nights from Friday to Monday.
Due to high demand, we are unlikely to be able to accommodate requests for specific dates.
Heating and cooling
Due to the rammed earth material and clever design, Hannah’s stays cool in summer and warm in winter, however, there are ceiling fans in the living areas for the warmer months and a split system for both heating and cooling. There is also a wood fire heater with wood available for use in the cooler months.
House rules
- Pets are not permitted; however, certified assistant animals with appropriate documentation will be considered.
- The property is strictly a smoke-free, vape-free property.
