Overflow is a gorgeous self-contained two bedroom cottage located in the Snowy Mountains at Talbingo, made available to Otis by the Duncan family.

Built as accommodation for workers on the Snowy Mountain Scheme, it has been renovated to offer modern comforts, whilst retaining its original charm.

Surrounded by Kosciuszko National Park and State Forests, Talbingo offers a snapshot of the Snowy Mountains Scheme in operation – it is home to the largest power station in the Scheme, Tumut 3.

Situated on the shores of Jounama Pondage amidst stunning mountain scenery, there is a huge range of outdoor pursuits such as walking and fishing, while also being in easy reach of the snow fields.
Simply take in the lovely views of the golf course and surrounding mountains and enjoy the peace and quiet that Overflow provides.

Accommodation

Overflow sleeps four guests in two bedrooms – one room with a double bed and another with a double and a single bed.

Availability

Overflow is available for up to a five night stay between March and November. Long weekends and public holidays are not available.

Due to high demand for stays in NSW, there may be a wait for the offer of a stay at this retreat.

Location and area

Overflow is located at Talbingo, a town originally built for the Snowy Mountains scheme, just off the Snowy Mountains Highway and approximately 43km from the town of Tumut.

Heating and cooling

There is a gas log fire heater to keep you cosy in the winter and air conditioning for the warmer months.

Pets are not permitted; however, certified assistant animals with appropriate documentation will be considered
