"We would like to sincerely thank you and The Otis Foundation for giving us the opportunity to enjoy the most wonderful holiday with our family at Cedar Lake Country Resort over the last week.

As I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in July, 2020, just as Covid lock downs gripped our Nation, I was unable to have the physical support of my family who live in Melbourne. This was also soon after my mother had also suffered a stroke and she was still recovering. Thankfully, with the support of my husband Russell and children, and following extensive chemotherapy, surgery and radiation, I have recovered from my cancer diagnosis, although I continue to undergo regular testing.

The retreat at the Cedar Lake Country Resort was a wonderful way to reconnect with our children and my parents and with the myriad activities on offer, there was something for everyone. It is a beautiful location and the room was spacious and well equipped for the 6 of us. We enjoyed activities on the lake as well as golf, tennis, swimming and beautiful bush walks close by where we really connected with nature and each other.

Thank you for a truly once in a lifetime experience that will be forever cherished.
