ALI Group, a Major Partner of The Otis Foundation ran a campaign in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, that raised a phenomenal $37,000; that's over 490 nights away for families experiencing breast cancer.
“Behind those numbers are real people within our communities, who are dealing with the physical and emotional turmoil a breast cancer diagnosis brings. They are someone’s mother, sister, father, brother, son, daughter, close friend, work colleague and because of your support, these families will be able to go and relax, recuperate, creating memories and in some cases, say goodbye. The effort might seem minimal but the payoff is invaluable and for that we say thank you for supporting ALI and our partnership with Otis” – Huy Truong, ALI Group CEO.
ALI Group donated 1 night retreat accommodation for every new My Protection Plan policy that was sold in October. Their community of brokers embraced the campaign with 334 participating to help achieve such an amazing result. 488 policies were sold and therefore 488 nights donated to Otis with ALI Group then rounding up their donation to $37K.
Otis Chief Executive Officer, Claire Culley, expressed her gratitude towards ALI Group, stating ‘’I am truly humbled by ALI’s generous contribution to support us in providing more retreat accommodation to individuals experiencing breast cancer. This gives our guests the gift of time and space, helping them to reconnect and take a break with their loved ones.”
