St Brigids

St Brigids Retreat is a private property made available to Otis guests through the generosity of its owners. It is a 100-year-old double storey converted Baltic pine church, providing rustic beach side accommodation and is ideally suited to couples.

Accommodation

The only bedroom (queen bed) is situated upstairs on a mezzanine floor with double glass doors opening out to a balcony boasting ocean views. The downstairs living area is warmed by a baker's oven while the kitchen features a dishwasher and microwave. Please note there is no conventional oven.

Availability

St Brigids is available for four night stays from Monday to Friday from April to September. It is not available during school holidays, weekends or public holidays.

Due to high demand, we are unlikely to be able to accommodate requests for specific dates.

House Rules

Pets are not permitted and the property is strictly smoke-free.
Guests need to be aware that the staircase is very steep and not suited to anyone with mobility and/or health issues. It is open to South Australian residents only. Wood for the pot belly heater is supplied, however, guests need to supply kindling.
All linen and bedding is provided at St Brigids. Guests are required to bring their own food and personal items.

Location and Area

St Brigids is on the outskirts of Goolwa Beach on South Austalia's stunning Fleurieu Peninsula. The property adjoins a nature reserve and is close to shops, a golf course and the Murray River. The closest medical facilities are at Victor Harbor, approximately 20 kilometres away.
