This spectacular two storey home located in the prestigious and relaxed suburb of Larrakeyah is made available to The Otis Foundation by the George family.
The stunning property is the ideal retreat to escape from it all, offering views over Cullen Bay, where you can take in the sights of exclusive sea vessels visible from the expansive veranda and living areas or take a short walk to the beach and close-by restaurants.
For those feeling energetic, leave the car at the retreat and wander into Darwin’s CBD or take a relaxing 25min stroll to Mindil Beach at sunset. Each Thursday and Sunday evening as the sun dips into the Arafura Sea make time to explore the renowned Mindil Beach markets.
Sightsee around the Marina at Cullen Bay, which is home to many of the sunset harbour cruises and fishing tour operators. Vessels must pass through a double-action lock to access the sea, established to protect the marina from Darwin's fluctuating eight metre tides.
Accommodation
Cullen Bay can accommodate up to eight guests in three bedrooms. The main bedroom features a king bed, with the second and third bedrooms offering a queen bed and twin singles respectively. The divan downstairs will sleep another two guests. There is an ensuite to the main bedroom, a second bathroom and a separate laundry. Two spacious living areas, a formal lounge and a separate dining room ensure plenty of space for everyone. The property has two decks to enjoy views of the bay, pool and lush gardens.
Availability
Cullen Bay is available between September and April for seven nights Monday – Monday.
Due to high demand, we are unlikely to be able to accommodate requests for specific dates.

Cullen Bay retreat is located 3.5km from central Darwin and only 13km from Darwin International Airport.
Cullen Bay Retreat is located on a tropical palm lined street with off street secure parking.
Heating and cooling
Cullen Bay offers split system cooling and the large living areas provide fantastic flow through breezes.
House rules
Pets are not permitted; however, certified assistant animals with appropriate documentation will be considered.
This is strictly a smoke-free, vape-free property.
What to bring
Guests are required to bring their own food, beach towels and personal items.
Other considerations
All linen, including bedding and bath towels, is provided.
There is a fully fenced plunge pool available for guests use.
Wi-Fi is not available at this retreat giving you the perfect opportunity to connect with the beauty around you.
Guests should be aware that there is a privately owned boat moored at the property and the owner will occasionally access the boat via property grounds.
